Fallen Soldiers of World War I

Nineteen men from the North Queens area perished during the First World War.  In civilian life most were farmers, woodsmen, clerks, miners and millmen.  A few were married with families, and many had not yet set out to make their mark on the world.  All made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their country, and we will remember them.
