Fallen Soldiers and Airmen of World War II

      Eleven men from the North Queens area perished during the Second World War.  Coming from diverse backgrounds, most were farmers, woodsmen, electricians, miners and millmen.  A few were married with families, but all were someone's brother, father or son.  All made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their country, and we will remember them.
